What is a digital download?

A digital download is a file, usually JPG or PDF, that you can download and print out. You can also email the file to a professional printing service for a very low cost.

Will I receive an actual product?

No, you are purchasing a digital download. You will receive a downloadable file to print.

How will I receive my purchase?

After completing purchase, you will receive a download link for the print. If you have any issues at all, contact us at [email protected].

Is my digital download painting signed by ​Álvaro?

​Álvaro’s printed signature is in the bottom corner of the digital download. If you would like an actual, hand-signed print of this painting, contact ​Álvaro at [email protected].

Can I purchase a digital download from my phone?

Yes! You can use a smartphone, tablet, or computer to purchase a digital download. However, to PRINT out the download, we recommend you use a computer.

How many times can I download my painting?

The settings are at three downloads per purchase. You only need one download, but there are two extra just in case you have trouble. Once you download the image, you can print it out endlessly.

Can I resell the print?

No. Álvaro, as the artist, retains all copyrights for his paintings.

What type of paper should I use?

The best paper to use is high quality glossy photo paper. This paper shows the colors well. You can also use matte photo paper or bright white cardstock. You can print on different kinds of paper to see which you prefer.

Can I use the digital download for other products too?

Yes! Feel free to adjust your printer settings and shrink the image to print out greeting cards, bookmarks, or postcards.
